Six metres north of KE070-114----, a fractured sandstone boulder tilts south beneath Teeromoyle mountain. Its upper surface holds a circular pocked area and a fainter western companion, markers so old they have surrendered most of their shape to rain and time. The stone sits above the Ferta River valley, waiting for someone to notice the difference between a smooth hill and a place where human hands first made a mark.

This boulder, 1.22m x .72m, lies 6m N of KE070-114----. On its sloping upper surface is a centrally positioned, circular pocked area. Close to its W edge is a similar, though less well-defined, motif. (information: A. Purcell). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Date of upload: 30 July 2013 In mountain heath (256m OD), on a steep S-facing slope with boulders and rock outcrop, on the lower slopes of Teeromoyle mountain; Good views of Ferta River valley to S and W. A smooth and fractured sandstone rock (dims. 1.30m E-W; 0.72m N-S; max. H 0.61m at E) having a rectangular (dims. 0.20m N-S; 0.30m E-W) decorated surface with a S-facing aspect; prominent high area on E side of boulder. The motifs are very weathered and difficult to trace consisting of a cup-and-ring motif (overall diam. 19cm; rim D 3mm; cup diam. 4cm; D 5mm) defined by a rim; Area between the cupmark and the rim is filled with a dense cluster of pickmarks. A short linear groove (dims. L 7cm; Wth 1.5cm; D 3mm) extends from motif, at E. A natural fracture is evident across NE area of motif. Field fence (long-axis E-W) is c. 6m to S and stream nearby to NW. Rock art (KE070-113----) is c. 11m to SW. Stream nearby to NW.
