Rock art in Letter West stands inside a small Kerry enclosure, its three clear cupmarks cut into sandstone that still faces the Behy valley. The boulder has become part of a living wall beside a hut site, suggesting people valued the view and the memory written on stone. A tiny metal square and faint extra marks hint that the place continued to attract attention long after the first cups were made.

In rocky mountain heath (189m OD), within a small field, on a NE-facing slope. Excellent views of Behy river valley to NE with Seefin and Droum Mountains in background. Rock art boulder is incorporated into SSE-wall of a small enclosure, which adjoins a hut site to W. Drystone wall is c. 12m to SE and stream is c. 14m to SE. A smooth and fractured sandstone boulder (dims. 0.7m NNW-SSE; 1.75m ENE-WSW; H 0.4m at W) which is oblong in plan. It has an irregular decorated surface (dims. 0.35m NNW-SSE; 0.9m ENE-WSW) with an E-facing aspect. The decorated surface bears a triangular arrangement of three well-preserved cupmarks (diam. 4.5-5cm; D 6-7mm) upon highest area of stone, at W-end; A small square piece of metal (dims. 6mm x 6mm) is located adjacent to SW. A fourth cupmark (Diam. 4cm; D 3mm) on N edge is relatively shallow and a possible fifth cupmark to SE, appears to have eroded into a solution mark.
