Rock art in Derrygarrane North holds one ring and a cup surrounded by three rings on a shallow stone buried in bog above Kenmare Bay. The markers sit beside a descending stream rather than beside a house, suggesting people returned to this exposed slope to watch weather, water or life itself move across the bay.

This stone, the upper surface of which is decorated, is located in bog on the upper S slopes of Knocklomena, W of a stream that flows S from Lough Fadda. It measures 1.95m x .9m in maximum dimensions, and features a single ring and a cup-and-three rings. The site commands extensive views to S over Kenmare Bay to the Beara Peninsula.
