Half-buried in cutaway bog, a green sandstone slab holds eight faint cup-and-ring marks, some with twin hollows inside a single ring. The turf harvester still scrapes past it each year, shaving the margin where the stone meets the spreading field. Whoever cut those cups worked in darkness or dawn, pressing into rock that now tilts beneath moss and machine traffic.

In cutaway bog. The flat bog-stained exposed surface of a rock (1m E-W; 0.6m N-S) displays a cup-and-ring (diam. 10cm) and a single cupmark (diam. 5cm; D 1.5cm). Date of upload: 30 May 2011 In turf spreading area of cutaway bog, on a NE-facing slope (180m OD), c. 18m to SE of bog trackway. Excellent views across Behy River valley to NE, as far as Glenbeigh. Only partially visible above present ground level. A slightly rough and unfractured, green sandstone rock (dims. 1.13m N-S; 1.28m E-W), which is only partially visible above the present ground level. (It was necessary to remove a thin layer of turf/peat to expose motifs that were clearly running under it). This rock art site has a sub-oval decorated surface (dims. 0.80m N-S; 1.00m E-W) which is flat. The rock art is faint and weathered and consist of eight motifs in total. These comprise of a conjoined cup-and-ring motif (total dims. 22cm E-W; 12cm N-S) consisting of two cupmarks (diam. 5.5cm; D 4-8mm) enclosed by a ring (Wth 1.5cm; D 2-4mm), to NW; One cupmark (diam. 3.5cm, D 4mm), to NW and another of similar size and form, to NE. Two individual cup-and-partial ring motifs (diam. 13cm) composed of a cupmark (diam. 6cm; D 4mm) and ring (Wth 2cm; D 2-3mm) are off-centre to S. A cupmark is adjacent to NW and a second cupmark (diam. 3cm; D 2mm) is outlying to E. Margin of turf spreading area is c. 1.4m to ESE and stone is being damaged annually by turf harvester during the turf spreading process.
