Man-made underground passage in Coomasaharn

There are two openings to a Man-made underground passage (KE071-019001-) which extends along the W half of the site. The first is in the SW quadrant, and measures 1.05m wide and .5m high. It leads into a lintelled, drystone constructed passage which runs to NW for a distance of about 5m. This is 1.3m high and is partially collapsed at its NW end. The second opening occurs to N of the first, and was formed by the collapse of a roofing lintel over a passageway which is aligned N-S. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
