What is recorded here
Carrowreagh holds two cupmarks cut into a rock outcrop north-west of an alleged graveyard. The stones sit in County Donegal, marked by human hands across centuries while the graveyard claim remains unproven. Perhaps someone recorded a life event, measured water flow or simply played with a sharp tool beneath open sky. The cups still hold that forgotten purpose, waiting for patience rather than certainty.
Described by Van Hoek as 'NW of the alleged graveyard is an outcrop of rock with two cupmarks' (Van Hoek 1988, 46).
