What is recorded here
Carrowreagh holds two rock cups on a hidden outcrop near Donegal. They sit slightly higher than the surrounding wall, waiting for rain to fill them or a finger to trace their round edges. No one knows who cut them or when, but the stone still keeps the shape of that forgotten gesture.
Described by Van Hoek as 'Two cups are found on an outcrop E of DON 3B (DG003-012002-), at a slightly higher level, S of another wall' (Van Hoek 1988, 45).
