What is recorded here
Carrowreagh holds six cupmarks cut into an outcrop just north of the main site. These small depressions join a larger collection of stone markings in County Donegal. They may have marked a boundary, recorded a event or simply given fingers something rough to hold during a long winter evening.
Described by Van Hoek as 'On an outcrop just N of DON 3H (DG003-012008) are six more cupmarks' (Van Hoek 1988, 45).
