Mysterious cup marks dot the upper surface of a split boulder beside the forest road. The stones have watched Cavan traffic and weather for centuries, waiting for human hands to read their ancient language.
Immediately SE of the forest road, the remains comprise a split boulder on the upper surface of the larger section are a series of cup-marks (pers. comm. G. Burns and J. Nolan). (Burns and Nolan 2007)
