Situated on flat bogland. Excavation revealed a poorly preserved wooden trackway (L c. 10.5m; Wth 6.8m) constructed of brushwood deposits lying over fen peat and partly overlying the burnt material of a fulact fia (TN036-050074). The trackway was dated to 1436-1310 BC. (Stevens 1999, Killoran 305, 92-3) The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
