Part of a Settlement Cluster (CL009-075005-) in level pasture immediately NW of Carran Church (CL009-075001-) and Graveyard (CL009-075002-) overlooking the Poulacarran Valley to the E.
Running (traceable L c. 42m; Wth 6m) parallel with the main road, S from the SW corner of a house (CL009-075009-) and defined by grass-covered walls. Just to the SE its S-end, there is a rectangular, flat-bottomed quarry (int. dims. 11m N-S; 7m E-W; D c. 0.5m) with well-defined W, N and E sides. A second road/trackway (CL009-075013-) lies to the N.
