In boggy hill pasture. In the 1940s an 'old roadway' was discovered running N-S through Mangan bog (Minutes of the Co. Kerry Field Club, vol. 2, 700). The precise location of this road is not known and Mangan bog straddles OS 6-inch maps 48 and 58.
