What is recorded here

Kilcredane Parish holds a rectilinear enclosure that appears only in aerial photography, not on the ground. The ghost structure may mark a lost boundary or building, yet no human hand has shaped its visible stones. Coolbaun's soil keeps the shape hidden while the sky reveals it, creating a place that exists only when viewed from above.
In level, poorly drained pasture, at base of a S-facing slope. Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as an extant cairn. No visible surface trace of a cairn at this location. No potential feature evident upon historic mapping. Cropmark of rectilinear enclosure evident upon aerial photography (OSi 2010), however not visible on recent images (Bing 2015) or seen at ground level.
