On a N-facing slope. A roadway defined by low earthen banks or scarps on either side extends N from rath (RO035-014002-) on aerial photograph (CUCAP: AJQ 99) (L c. 200m). A slightly sunken roadway (Wth c. 7m) defined by slight scarps (H 0.05-0.1m) survives (L c. 125m) as far as the NE-SW Strokestown to Four Mile House road (R368), beyond which the ancient road survives more robustly (L c. 55m) defined by earthen banks (Wth c. 2m; H 0.5m) until it reaches the low-lying ground of a SW-NE valley.
