What is recorded here

The site (L 16.74m; D 0.4m) is orientated E-W and consists of a dispersed series of transverse brushwood in opposing drain faces. The brushwood (diam. 0.021-0.045m) is sparsely deposited and is laid up to three pieces deep. There are two longitudinal elements, one at either end of the site. A fragment of a tangentially split oak is present but no other woodworking was recorded. The material sits in well-humified Eriophorum peat. A rotten, tangentially split oak plank and an upright piece, located c. 5.8m to the W, may be displaced elements of the site.
