What is recorded here
The site (L 49.4m; Wth 2.64m min.; D 0.1m) is orientated E-W. It is constructed of transversely laid pieces of mixed brushwood and a roundwood, set up to two pieces deep. Within the structure are gaps of up 0.24m between the transverses which are partially filled by pieces of light brushwood. The site lies in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum. At the W limit of the site, its character varies in the size and arrangement of elements. This may indicate separate structures or further structures within this area associated with the complex, SMR OF019-053---- to the S. SMR OF019-123---- is 2.3m to the W and SMR OF019-124---- may partially underlie this site at its W extent.
