The site (Wth 0.5m; D 0.05m) consists of light brushwood identified at one location on the field surface The brushwood is orientated N-S and is a single layer deep. Evidence for woodworking is confined to a toolmark at the end of an outlying peg, situated 0.45m to the E of the site. It is not certain if this peg is related to the structure. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat in which Phragmites is also noted. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin). Date of upload: 23 May 2011
