What is recorded here

The site (L 1.1m min.; Wth 0.87m; D 0.07m) is orientated NW-SE on the field surface. It consists of longitudinal heavy brushwood and a roundwood. At its SE end there is a dense deposit of light brushwood and twigs. The wood is in a moderate condition with evidence of branch-trimming. It lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional ericaceous remains and Eriophorum. SMR OF019-068---- is 4.3m to the W.
