What is recorded here

The site (Wth 2.94m; D 0.37m) consists of a band of dispersed light brushwood and roundwoods orientated E-W and 2-3 elements deep. The roundwoods (diam. 0.6-0.16m) form a cluster towards the NW end of the site. There is no evidence for woodworking. Birch and alder are the wood species identified. The site sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. The site is located c. 4m SE of SMR OF015-151----. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
