What is recorded here

The site (Wth 4.1m; D 0.22m) is orientated NE-SW and consists of A dispersed band of light brushwood and light roundwoods evident in opposing drain faces. The components are transversely laid. Woodworking is attested by two metal-cut chisel points. Wood species include hazel, oak, willow and alder. The site is located within a well-humified, woody Sphagnum peat and lies c. 0.1m immediately below SMR OF015-135----. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
