What is recorded here

The site (Wth 2.38m; D 0.21m) is orientated NW-SE and consists of a collection of brushwood, twigs and roundwoods at the base of the drain. The brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.05m) and is irregularly laid. A large roundwood lies in a NE-SW direction at the edge of the drain base. Above this roundwood, a small concentration of twigs is recorded. Three pieces sitting at angles of 70-90° at the NW end of the site may have functioned as pegs. Woodworking is noted on two pieces. birch and willow are the main wood species identified. The site sits in well-humified woody, Sphagnum peat. It is situated c. 2m SE of SMR OF015-132----, SMR OF015-159---- and SMR OF015-162----.
