O'Toole identified a massive holly bush beside the Brides well, marking it as a ritual site where the boundary between human and nature blurred. People may have gathered beneath its dark leaves to drink water or offer prayers, trusting the tree to hold what the world forgets. The bush stood so large it seemed to breathe, watching over the well and reminding everyone that some places remain alive long after their names fade.
