What is recorded here

No visible monument remains, only a hidden ritual marker buried beneath Galway soil. The land itself may have been the chamber, a tree or bush standing as the visible half of the arrangement while people gathered around it to mark season, loss, birth or request. What is absent from the ground is not absence at all. The ceremony may have needed exactly that vacancy, a hollow place where imagination could enter and complete the shape.
