What is recorded here

Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as 'Cranavilla' which according to O'Donovan (OS Name Books c. 1840) was a large ash tree underneath which unbaptised children were buried (26:72(02)). No visible remains.
