Kathleen Cait Murphy, a Kinsale nurse who spent thirty years in New York, built the garden in County Cork to honour the firemen and Father Michale Judge. Each tree marks one lost life, turning a ordinary field into a place where breath and memory entangle. She did not use stone or plaque, but living wood that grows taller every year, forcing forgetfulness to bend around its trunk.
Established by a Kinsale lady, Kathleen Cait Murphy who worked as a nurse for over 30 years in New York City. There is a tree for each of the Fireman who died, as well as one for the Chaplin Father Michale Judge who was a friend of hers
