What is recorded here

Six ring-ditches circle a slight hollow near Headfort House, each about fifteen metres across and separated by little more than breath. They appeared only after a modern survey, as if the land had been holding its tongue until someone finally listened. Anthony Murphy named them before the world did, pulling ancient geometry out of ordinary grass.

A group of six ring-ditches situated in a slight hollow on a fairly level landscape are placed c. 100m on land that was once part of the demesne of Headfort House. They are only visible on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018. This is a circular feature (diam. c. 15m) defined by a single continuous fosse.
