Rhinog Fach rises to approximately 584 metres and is part of the Rhinogydd range in north-west Wales. Its name means "Little Red Spine," likely referring to the reddish hue of its quartzite rock under certain light. The hill is significant as a prominent landmark in an otherwise low-lying coastal landscape, offering panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsula.
