Freestanding monument, dated 1930; unveiled 1931, on a square plan. Set in park with gritdashed-panelled rendered piers to perimeter having precast concrete thumbnail beaded cornices below moss-covered capping supporting wrought iron double gates.
A monument signed (1930) by Oliver Sheppard RHA (1865-1941) of Dublin commemorating 'MAJOR WILLIE REDMOND M.P. [1861-1917] CHEVALIER De La LÉGION d'HONNEUR WHO FELL AT WYTSCHAET JUNE 7th 1917' (cf. 15500033).
