Terraced two-bay three-storey house and former shop, built c. 1820, as a pair with the adjoining house. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to second floor, four-over-four to first floor, all with limestone sills. Ground floor altered and full width shopfront inserted, comprising square-headed display windows, flanked timber panelled doors and overlights.

The scale and proportions of this pair make it a fine addition to the streetscape. Though altered, particularly at ground floor level, the building retains much of its character.
