Bawn in Windmill is a missing boundary wall in County Tipperary, erased from the landscape but preserved in a Civil Survey description of a house and bawn at Wind Mill. The wall likely enclosed a working estate, yet it has vanished so completely that no trace remains above ground. Forgetting is not the same as loss; the wall still exists in the shape of the story told about it.

According to the Civil Survey there was a 'House & Bawne at Wind Mill' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 255). The area around Windmill House was inspected but there was no visible evidence above ground of a 17th-century house (TS060-088002-) or bawn.
