Freestanding single-bay single-stage gable-fronted mausoleum, reconstructed 1938, on a rectangular plan. Pitched (gable-fronted) reinforced concrete roof. Tuck pointed rock faced limestone ashlar walls on moss-covered mass concrete plinth with drag edged rusticated cut-limestone quoins to corners centred on drag edged rusticated cut-limestone panel ("1938"). Set in unkempt grounds shared with Westport House.
A mausoleum reconstructed over the remains of John Denis Browne (1756-1809), first Marquess of Sligo, contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Westport House estate.
