Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1850. Refenestrated, c.2000. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills. Replacement uPVC casement windows, c.2000. Round-headed door opening with moulded rendered surround, replacement timber panelled door, c.2000, and overlight. Road fronted on an elevated site with raised concrete footpath to front.

This house is a balanced building of modest appearance that retains most of its original form. However, the replacement fittings to the openings do not enhance the appearance of the composition. The house is an attractive feature of the streetscape of Barker Street, set on an elevated site.
