Watercourse in Unknown Townland

Watercourse

What is recorded here

Excavations in 1993 revealed a watercourse on the N and S sides of a site at the 'Back of the Pipes' which appeared to be part of the Dublin City watercourse that ran to this area of the city basin. Probably of 13th-century date (Hayden 1994, 20).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
