Indicated is a partially destroyed moated site immediately west of the Grand Canal in County Laois. A rectangular enclosure appeared on the 1841 map, but only its east corner remained visible by 1909. Bank ruins still mark the east and southeast edges, preserving the shape of a place that water once kept separate from the world.

Immediately W of the Grand Canal. A rectangular enclosure is marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. On the 1909 edition, only the E corner (C c. 35m NE-ESE) is marked. The site has been partially destroyed but remains of the bank survive at E and SE.
