Kylemahoe, an ecclesiastical enclosure in Vicarstown, County Laois, is a hidden church site where no walls or stones remain visible on the ground. Aerial photography reveals a faint cropmark circle around the burial place, proving the land still remembers the shape of the building lost to time. The graveyard sits dormant beneath the soil, waiting for rain or drought to draw its ancient lines across the living field.

Reference to a church site (LA014-022001-) here (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 294). No visible surface remains. In the nineteenth century it was described as Kylemahoe with its disused graveyard (LA014-022002-) and site of an old church (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 294). The cropmark of an enclosure is visible around the church site on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AYN 17) but no visible surface remains survives.
