Situated on low-lying poorly drained land with a river to the NNE. A circular mound of burnt material (diam. 10m E-W; 9m N-S; H 0.5m) with a nearby fulacht fia (TN007-071) located 35m to the SE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
