Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Urlar is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Urlar, County Sligo, Ireland. The earthwork encloses a raised circular area 22 metres across with a 0.7 metre high scarp. A 1.8 metre wide fosse runs outside the scarp base, appearing as wetter ground only from the west to northwest. The original entrance is no longer recognisable.
Situated on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a scarp of earth (ext. H 0.7m). At the external base of the scarp is a fosse (Wth 1.8m). The fosse is visible W-NW only as a band of wetter ground. The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 21 April 2011
