What is recorded here

George Sigerson lived from 1836 to 1925 and called Strabane his birthplace, yet he wore many hats: physician, professor, writer, Gael. The blue plaque at Strabane Library exists because those roles still matter locally. Ulster History Circle recorded the facts, but the real story is a man who refused one label.
