Structure

A piece of brushwood (L 0.4m min.; diam. 0.4m) worked to a chisel point and set at 70° in the drain face. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
