Structure

Two planks in opposing drain faces (Wth 0.16m; D 0.06m). The plank in the W drain face is an outer tangential split (Wth 0.15m; D 0.06m). The E plank is a smaller radial split (Wth 0.12m; D 0.03m) in section. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat. It is located 3.5m SW of SMR OF007-083----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
