Detached three-bay single-storey lighthouse keeper's house, built c. 1870, with extension and boundary walls to rear (south) elevation. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystack and render corbelled eaves course. Painted rendered walls, lined-and-ruled to west elevation. Square-headed openings with replacement uPVC windows and door.
Lighthouse keeper's house of balanced symmetrical composition and retaining its early character in spite of some recent refenestration. The survival of structures such as this along the coastline adds significantly to the historical record and maritime heritage.
