What is recorded here

Freestanding cast-iron post box, erected c. 1930, having rounded cap with dentil motifs, banding to shaft and raised lettering to base.
Representative of mid twentieth-century design, this post box is of simple design with little decorative detailing. Post boxes of the mid to late twentieth century are becoming increasingly rare, as they are not afforded the protection of older boxes.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
