End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, built c.1830. Fronting directly onto street. Pitched tiled roof with rendered chimneystack. Ruled-and-lined render to walls with rendered plinth and painted quoins to north. Timber sliding sash windows with tooled stone sills, first floor window sills supported by stone brackets. Round-headed door opening with timber battened door and timber spoked fanlight.

This end-of-terrace modest house overlooks the tall stone walls of Birr Castle Demesne. As one of a small terrace of similar houses, this dwelling is integral to the streetscape. The architectural character of the building is provided by its simple design features such as the tooled stone sills with supporting brackets, sash windows and a round-headed door opening with original simple spoked fanlight.
