Toberfraughan

In wetland, 20m E of Kilfraughaun Church (MA121-097001-). A spring, emerging from under a beech tree, running into a large stream with other water sources. Dedicated to Saint Fursagh. Toberfraughan is a holy well dedicated to Saint Fursagh, associated with healing traditions and local pilgrimage. The saint is believed to have been an early Irish Christian figure, and wells named after him are often linked to cures for skin ailments and general well-being.
