Pair of terraced two-bay and three-bay three-storey houses with integral carriage arch, built c.1880, now in use as shops and offices. Pitched slate roof with brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Segmental-headed one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows with limestone sills and render label-mouldings, continuous to first floor. Replacement shopfronts to ground floor, western with render quoins.

While this building has been much altered from its original use and function, it nonetheless retains its timber sash windows, decorative label-mouldings and roof slates. The broad street frontage and large scale of this building make it a fitting closure to the vista from Croke Street.
