Grave Yard is a children's burial ground immediately south of a Galway church, marked by unworked stones and two grass-covered mounds. It remained in use until the early 19th century, when adult graveyards were already crowded and expensive. The small size and separate location suggest families chose this place because it was near, affordable, or believed kinder for children.

Immediately S of a church (GA087-211001-). A subrectangular area (N-S 22m, E-W 20m) enclosed by a bank and linear depression define E side and the church forms N limits. A gap in the bank along S side probably marks the entrance. The burials consist of rows of unworked and uninscribed grave-markers indicating graves oriented E-W. Two small grass-covered stone mounds are evident to S. According to local information the graveyard was in use until the early 19th century. (ASGAP 171:10).
