Templemoyle Stone Ringfort stands on a rocky Donegal knoll where twenty-two metres of western wall still catch the wind. Three upright stones mark a southern entrance, inviting curiosity about the people who shaped rock into a boundary. The missing sections suggest a larger circle now returned to moss and memory, leaving only enough stone to prove the knoll once belonged to someone bold.

Only the W section of the stone wall of this cashel survives for a length of 22m. The wall incorporates rock outcrop which probably was exploited in other sections of the wall no longer surviving. Three upright stones seem to mark an entrance at the S. It is situated on a rocky knoll with a commanding view. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
