Grave Yd is a living trapezoid of death beside a Cork road, holding headstones that stretch back to 1729 while the church that gave it shape vanished into ruin centuries ago. The graveyard outlived its maker, absorbing the absent building into memory and continuing to receive the dead long after the altar disappeared.

On E side of road; trapezoidal graveyard (c. 50m E-W; c. 45m N-S) in occasional use; some headstones at E end, the earliest dating from 1729 (Coleman 1917-20c). No visible surface trace of parish church (CO054-106002-) of Templebodan, in ruins since 17th century (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 383-4); marked 'site of' on 1936 OS 6-inch map.
