Burnt mound in Teeveeny

In a recently planted forest, on a W-facing slope. A roughly oval grass-covered spread (8.8m E-W; 5.3m N-S) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The W edge of the spread has been truncated by a drain. A fulacht fia (CO007-058----) lies c. 25m to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
