Structure

A piece of brushwood (L 0.16m min.; diam. 0.044m) in the drain face in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and a large amount of Phragmites. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
